My son and I love going to the movies and recently watched Twisters. It's just as cheesy as you would expect if you saw Twister (1996) with better effects. While the current movie features a fire tornado (!), I would take Philip Seymour Hoffman over Glen Powell, Helen Hunt's hair, and the 1996 soundtrack. In Twister, Hunt's character is listening to Leo and hair icon Tori Amos when she first appears.
In honor of Leo Goddetc and Mane Queen Sasha Colby, I am rewatching season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race. Ponytail whips, a kind + confident heart, and all that ass won her the crown. Soft Men
I am on the lookout for soft men. My spouse is a soft man, but I know there are more out there. I only recently discovered comedian Chris Fleming and feel like I'm late to the party. I have been devouring his YouTube series Gayle and his standup specials. Magnificent hair, gender bending aesthetics, and refusal to be labelled. I love his takes on growing up in puritanical Massachusetts and being the weird kid. Fleming was also on The Witch Wave podcast with Pam Grossman discussing "his ongoing fascination with witches, his relationship to spirituality and subversive feminine forces, and how comedy can transmute fear into magic."

Blessed Witch Summer! This TikTok is from many years ago, but it's new to me! My family is lucky to be under the tutelage of a witch.
The atheist/skeptic in me has been seeking different spiritual perspectives beyond witchcraft. I started listening to Rainn Wilson's Soul Boom podcast. The clip below features Douglas Rushkoff, author and media theorist, discussing how capitalism keeps communities apart. I love his analogy of borrowing a drill. The older I get, the less patience I have for superfluous language. Just explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old. The whole episode is fascinating as they discuss the origins of the internet and money, why unemployment isn't a problem, and possibilities for change.
